A 501(c)3 is type of incorporation that is used to set up a charitable corporation. A charitable company is a type of company that is set up with the intention of providing a service to the community, rather than making a profit. It is exempt from federal income tax if its activities have the following purposes: charitable, religious, educational, scientific, literary, testing for public safety, fostering amateur sports competition, or preventing cruelty to children or animals.

Private School Accreditation
Section 1002.55,(3)(b)1., Florida Statutes states that a private school participating in the VPK Program must be accredited by a recognized accrediting association.
In order to complete a formal application with the above entities, a self-study is required. This document captures pertinent information about your school to include its demographics, needs, history, data, supporting documents, evidence, artifacts, mission, core value and more.
